SUMMARY
In July, the World Health Organization (WHO) published the second edition of Risk Reduction of Cognitive Decline and Dementia. This 168 page report includes updated modifiable risk factors that may reduce the risk of dementia and cognitive decline. WHO estimates that if people addressed all these modifiable behaviors, 45% of dementia cases could be prevented.
I summarize the recommendations in the full report.
